Commonly, hair weave is categorized by it's characteristics of texture and wave patterns including straight, body wave, deep wave, kinky curly, spanish wave and more. Also, human hair can be styled (straightened or curled) as well as dyed to your desired colour. It is a good idea to consider the hairstyle you are looking to achieve, this will narrow down your options. Furthermore, the most popular textures are Malaysian, Brazilian, Indian and Vietnamese. Virgin Hair
Virgin Hair is the highest grade hair in the industry. The hair has never been processed or treated with any kind of chemical. Also, the hair is in it's natural state which means the hair cuticles run in the same direction and are intact (usually referred to as Remy). Virgin hair can be bleached, dyed or processed as desired. Virtuous Beauty features both Vietnamese and Indian virgin hair bundles.
Remy Hair
Remy hair is hair that is in it's natural state; meaning that the cuticles are intact and running in the same direction. This will prevent the hair from tangling easily. The main difference between Virgin hair and Remy hair, is that Remy hair has been chemically processed for colour or texture.

Malaysian Hair
Malaysian hair is very soft and thick, giving it a full body. It has an excessive shine, with a medium to high luster. Also, it blends best with relaxed textures of African American hair. The Malaysian hair at Virtuous Beauty would be considered a 7A grade. As well, it comes in straight and body wave in a natural 1B colour.
Brazilian Hair
Brazilian hair is by far our most popular hair texture. It is thick, durable, and has its' own natural shine. When maintained, multiple installs and colouring can be achieved. It is perfect for African American women. Due to the density of this hair, it is less likely to frizz, and can use fewer bundles while still maintaining a full look. The Brazilian hair at Virtuous Beauty would be considered a 8A grade. It comes in an array of patterns, including straight, deep wave, body wave, kinky curly, afro kinky, and more! This hair also comes in a variety of colours; our entire colour collection is Brazilian hair. When in doubt, go with Brazilian hair.
Indian Hair
Indian hair is by far one of the best hair types. We only have virgin (raw) Indian hair. It is loved for its' thick, bouncy and light feel. It moves effortlessly with lots of bounce, is tangle-free and very easy to style. Indian hair creates a beautiful wave that ranges from straight to curly. Lastly, it can be easily curled and styled, holding curls very well.
Vietnamese Hair
Vietnamese hair is the best quality hair on the market. This hair is from the country side of Vietnamese. It is virgin hair, meaning that it has never been touched by chemicals or processed in any way. The hair is silky, smooth and strong. It is not coarse like Indian hair extensions. Virtuous Beauty offers this hair in straight, natural wave, and a natural gray.

Budget
Typically, you get what you pay for when it is comes to hair extensions. It is best to decide the purpose this hair will serve. Do you need it to last for a weeks vacation? Do you want to add it to your collection of absolute favourites? For the hair to last long term, and be maintained through multiple installs, you will have to go with higher quality hair and texture.
Style
What do you want to do with the hair once installed? Do you want low maintenance, where you just install it and leave it alone? If so, Afro kinky would be a good option. Or, do you want something more versatile? Opting for a slightly curly texture, such as body wave, would allow you to straighten the hair for an event, as well as be able to revert to its original curl form once wet. You should also considered the length you desire.
Your own hair type
It is recommended to choose hair that will best blend in with your natural hair, if you plan not to utilize a closure or frontal. Natural hair leave out that doesn't blend with the weave will not be ideal.
